Mr. Friend’s Will directed that the beneficiaries be “children of the members of the Bar of Allegheny County (including attorneys whose principal practice is in Allegheny County), aforesaid, as may be designated by the said Trustees…” as long as that child is enrolled at Yale University in New Haven.

May 1st is the deadline for the subsequent summer session and regular school year. December 1st is the deadline for a special request grant for a student beginning in January.

The required certification is the submission of a copy of the Attorney’s Annual Fee Report that is sent to Harrisburg each year, stating among other things, the location of the individual’s principal practice * Applications must be mailed and received by May 1st
