The Mission of the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc., is 

  • To coordinate, stimulate and encourage higher standards in all aspects of Garden Club work
  • To protect and conserve our natural resources, preserve our heritage and promote civic beauty

The mission is fulfilled in rich and varied ways, offering member clubs and affiliates opportunities to participate in, and contribute to, the core mission and values of the Federation.

They must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need. PhD candidates are not eligible.
