Members of the Yale School of the Environment (YSE) community have easy access to a curated list of global, external funding opportunities for graduate students and postdocs using this new database. The service is maintained by a collaboration among the School’s Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid, Career and Professional Development (CPD), and Research.

The database contains detailed information on research grants, internship stipends, travel funds, tuition scholarships, and other awards of interest to members of the School’s community. Opportunities and deadlines are updated frequently - please check back regularly. We do our best to keep the content of the database current, but if you see an opportunity that appeals to you and whose deadline has passed, click the associated link to see if a new competition has been announced.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) Google Scholarship	The Google Scholarship opportunity meets AISES’ mission-driven objective to support Indigenous students in becoming qualified, STEM professionals through academic scholarship and wrap around support services. With the resources provided by Google, combined with AISES’ 46 years of experience administering scholarships and offering support programs to Indigenous students, AISES believes the recipients will excel in their programs and provide meaningful contributions in the STEM workforce	February 25, 2024	April 30, 2024		$2,500
EPOC Environmental Scholarship Fund	EPOC recognizes its duty to assist in the education of individuals planning a career in the environmental industry. Consequently, the EPOC Environmental Scholarship Fund was established in 1998. The purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to assist Connecticut residents, or an immediate family member (spouse or child) of an EPOC Member in good standing, who are enrolled in accepted programs of study (see below) preparing the student to become a Technical Environmental Professional* in the State of Connecticut as defined by the CT DEEP, or a professional in a related service discipline who may render technical assistance to the Technical Environmental Professional.
